That’s a pretty good plan. Cormorant Island is crescent shaped with a large boggy area in one part, however, so it would be a bit tricky. Plus it’s thought that the big guy (Sasquatch) swims to the island from the mainland. No gym membership needed 😉

If enough people buy into it,
The inhabitants could pick a day,
ring the island by everyone standing so as to line the perimeter standing eight or so feet apart, and in a coordinated manner, everyone walks toward the center.
eventually, the big guy is in the center of an increasingly smaller ring until he suddenly finds himself with no choice but to buy the damned gym membership.
